                   A RESOLUTION AGREEING TO PROVIDE MATCHING
                   FUNDS UP TO ONE HUNDRED SIX THOUSAND, TWO
                   HUNDRED FIFTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS
                   ($106,250.00) FOR AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
                   ADMINISTRATION GRANT TO HAMILTON COUNTY TO
                   CONSTRUCT AN AMPHITHEATER AND SUPPORT
                   FACILITIES FOR AN OUTDOOR HISTORIC DRAMA
                   PRODUCTION SUBJECT TO RECEIPT OF SUCH GRANT
                   AND THE APPROPRIATION OF AT LEAST AN EQUAL
                   AMOUNT BY HAMILTON COUNTY, TENNESSEE.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized an 

       agreement to provide matching funds up to $106,250.00 for an
       Economic Development Administration Grant to Hamilton County to
       construct an amphitheater and support facilities for an outdoor
       historic drama production subject to receipt of such grant and 
the
       appropriation of at least an equal amount by Hamilton County,
       Tennessee.
